Southbank
International School This site is an excellent example of how light and heavy fonts can be used effectively to separate words and ideas, without cluttering the message with graphic images or distorted text. |

Sapient Their entry page shows a style of text quite familiar to us from print ads and magazines, yet rarely seen on the Web. Varied sizes and font weights are used to bring life to text, and highlight important words from the phrase. On this site, only the colored treatment of the photo and the text form the active design ... yet it is catchy and attractive. I would also like to draw your attention to a paragraph on an interior page. The designer has used a CSS class file to create a different font size and line spacing for this paragraph. Again, not unusual in the print world, but certainly not commonplace on the Web. |
