This addendum addresses and fixes minor problems with the Hierarchical Menus Version 3 script, when executed in both browsers.
You must be familiar with the script to appreciate the discussion.
Welcome to the eighth and a half maintenance release of Hierarchical Menus, Version 3.
This release addresses two issues, both connected with the in-page conditional-loading-of-external-scripts script:
- Compatibility with Navigator versions 4.0, 4.01 and 4.01a
- Compatibility with Active Server Pages
The hierMenus.js external script is not affected. Only the in-page <SCRIPT> tags are changed.
First, let's make the HM script compatible with the little-used-but-still-out-there initial releases of Navigator 4.
