"The plate gets a lot of comments when I stop at the gas station, grocery store, etc. Most people don't understand it and ask me what it means, but the people that do understand it seem to think it's cool and tend to chuckle as they point at my plate. Chuck figured he had to celebrate my new millenium bug somehow... so he made a joke with his new plate, frame, and new car. "I live in the Cascade foothills in rural north Snohomish County about 50 miles outside Seattle. I don't think too many of my neighbors (gun-toting, lumberjack, survivalist types) get the joke. The plate, by the way, *is* Y2K compliant. =)"

Our answer is everyone either likes it or hates it but they never forget it."

A friend of Brad's has "LINUX-", so their plates went well together.
