Richard Wiggins

Wiggins is an author, lecturer, and trainer specializing in Internet topics. He wrote the book, The Internet for Everyone: A Guide for Users and Providers. Wiggins writes for publications such as New Media, Internet World, and Netguide. His comments on Internet issues have appeared in the New York Times, Forbes magazine, the Washington Post, and elsewhere.

Richard Wiggins has lectured on Internet issues at Harvard, at the library school at the University of Michigan, at the Ann Arbor Computer Society, and at various national conferences. He has taught Internet seminars for customers such as Ford Motor Company and various libraries, schools, and professional societies.

Wiggins was co-host of an award-winning television program, "Internet: TCI", seen in one million cable homes nationally. He also co-hosted a program produced by Continental Cable.

By day he manages a group called Central Systems Services in the Computer Laboratory at Michigan State University. This group runs the central Gopher and World Wide Web servers at MSU.

Rich's wife made sure he was licensed to do the Internet.
